The 4 motor controller system allows you to proportionally control the speed and direction of up to 4 motors with the dual joystick controller. The 4 channel speed controller converts the PWM input from the dual joystick into varying voltages which travel through the CAT6 cable (sold separately) to the CAT6 - motor circuit board where the motor wires can be soldered in. This system will provide fine-control for any of our gearmotors. This is an open loop controller which means that the further the joystick is deflected from the center position, the faster the motors will run. When the joysticks are released, the motors will stop and hold position until another input is received. The 4 Motor Controller System is perfect for pan and tilts, time-lapse rigs, camera sliders or any application which requires fluid, bi-directional proportional control of a DC motor. The wireless adaptor kit converts the RJ11 cable to standard servo pin-outs. This allows you to simply plug in an RC receiver or any other type of servo controller into the 4-motor controller via the supplied male-male servo extensions if you wish to use a servo controller other than the supplied dual joystick.
For full wireless operation, a 12V battery with a 2.5x5.5mm Male Power Plug is needed to power the 4-motor controller.
