Our new DDT500 System is perfect for cameras or sensors up to 2 lbs. One of the biggest problems with servos is they can not always handle heavy side loads even though they may have the power to rotate your attachment. As you can see from the pictures, our system utilizes the servo output shaft and a ball bearing on the opposite end. This configuration along with rigid 1/4” ABS plastic makes it one of the most rigid and precise tilts available. The bottom plate has our hub configuration so that you can use any of our clamping or set-screw hubs with the DDT500. The top mounting plate has three 1/4” holes but can be easily drilled to accept other attachments. The DDT500 Tilt uses any standard size Hitec or Futaba servo. For cameras up to 1 lb, the HS-645MG or the HS-475HB servos work very well. For cameras up to 2 lbs, we suggest the HS-985MG or for the ultimate small tilt, the HSR-5995TG.
