For aircraft applications, a standard bottom case is included with each HSR-5980SG servo.
Extremely strong steel gears offer unbeatable strength and tight mesh over thousands of cycles.
The HSR-5980SG upper case incorporates brass bushings for the servo gear shafts for longevity and smooth operation.
Programmability features and state of the art hardware make the HSR-5980SG servo one of the most advanced in any industry.

It takes quite a servo to impress us at ServoCity but the HSR-5980SG does just that. This servo raises the bar when it comes to servo technology. The performance is staggering for a servo this size especially when installed in our ServoPower Gearbox (over 2,000 oz-in. or torque). Right out of the box, this servo operates a full 140° (full trims). A full set of steel gears offers 30 times the strength of nylon gears. Each gearset shaft rides in bronze bushings for durability and strength. We offer the HSR-5980SG servo in two configurations, continuous rotation (potentiometer is left outside the servo case) and reverse rotation. We know that this is not a cheap servo but you definitely get what you pay for - you will be impressed!
*Digital servos do not need to be programmed to operate. They work great right out of the box and purchasing a programmer is not necessary.

This servo can operate 180° by sending a pulse signal ranging from 600usec to 2400usec.

120° no trims, 140° using full trims

Uses C1 Standard Spline
