This gearbox increases the stated power rating and transit time for your standard-size servo up to 5 times without reducing the total travel. By bypassing the stock internal potentiometer and utilizing a military grade precision external potentiometer, the amount of operating rotation stays the same as the stock servo (which in most cases is 90°). The plates are made from high-impact ABS plastic for tremendous durability. The military grade external potentiometer incorporates a high-strength stainless steel 1/4" diameter shaft. By not transmitting the servo power through the shaft but directly to the gear hub ensures that no slipping occurs. Power is transmitted directly to the item you have attached to the aluminum hub via the four 5-40 tapped holes. Gear ratios are easily changed and can be purchased separately. Assembly required.
