1,795 oz-in. of torque and unlimited rotation from a standard $31.99 servo....easily done with the all new SPG645A-CR Servo Power Gearbox. The all new structure is machined from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum. The hardened 3/8” stainless steel final shaft is supported by dual ABEC-5 precision ball bearings that not only allow extremely smooth operation but can also support up to 200 pounds of vertical and horizontal load. The shaft is hollow (.290” hole) to allow wires to pass through. With six optional gear ratios, you are sure to find the right combination of power and speed for your project although the gear ratios can easily be changed. Mounting various attachments is simple with the four 5-40 tapped holes in the aluminum clamp hub. Mounting tabs are .250” thick. Four 5-40 tapped holes in the mounting hub allows for various attachments.
Given a 1500usec PWM, rotation will stop. Any signal between 1505usec to 1100usec or 1495usec- to 900usec will make the servo rotate variable rpm to the PWM signal. IE: A signal closest to 1500usec, the servo will rotated slowly. A signal further from 1500usec the servo will rotate faster.
Longer 3/8” diameter shafts can easily be used.
