There are two questions to ask when you are choosing the correct extension for your application. First, what type of connector do you need. Second, what gauge of wire do you need. The connector type depends on what servos you are using. If you are using Hitec, JR, or Airtronic Z servos, you will need extensions with the Hitec connector (Universal Connector). If you are using Futaba servos then you need to choose extensions with the Futaba connector. As for the gauge of wire to use, we suggest that you use standard wire size for all standard size analog servos and heavy duty wire for all standard size digital servos including all 1/4 scale servos.
