When Dallas first reached out to us to tell us about the project he and his six year old daughter wanted to build, we thought, “Cool!” I know we say this often, but we absolutely love seeing what you all are building and how you incorporate our parts into your design. We especially love to see young students getting excited about engineering/robotics and then in turn designing and building their own projects. So when Dallas told us about their project, we wanted to follow up and learn more!
The process of making three dimensional solid objects for a digital file (aka 3D printing) has exploded over the past several years. We see it every where from uses in jewelry, automotive, aerospace, educational to healthcare/medical, the uses for 3D printing are expanding.
We receive numerous customer project photos, but rarely do we see the more artistic uses of our products. When we saw the photo above, we were really impressed by these delicate mammoth insects! So naturally we had to learn more about Patrick and his build and thus the story continues…..
