Motor Mount H (AndyMark Orbital/REV HD Hex Motors)

This motor mount is compatible with the AndyMark Orbital 20 Gearmotor as well as the REV Robotics HD Hex Motor. We offer this mount in order to support teams who use Actobotics to build their chassis, and wish to utilize the above motors. 

When using an AndyMark Orbital 20 Gearmotor in conjunction with this mount, the motor shaft will protrude 0.75” from the face of the motor mount. When the mount is fastened to the outside of channel, this will put the shaft exactly halfway through which is perfect for using a shaft coupler to convert to a ¼” output as shown in the Product Insights above. 

When using a REV HD Hex Motor in conjunction with this mount, the motor shaft will protrude 1.41” from the face of the motor mount. Because the motor shaft is so long, a coupler would not be able to be used in the same way as with the AndyMark Motor. If you’re open to cutting the motor shaft you can then tailor it to the desired length.
