Linear Actuator Kit A (7.4" Stroke X-Rail Piston)

This kit comes with all mechanical pieces to create a linear actuator with a 7.4" overall stroke length.  The U-Channel serves as the outside framework and the X-Rail as the extension tube.  The X-Rail is supported by a pair of acetal plates able to be mounted anywhere along the channel, changing the overall extension length and amount of lateral support they provide.  The 48 tooth gear, which mounts to a motor, drives the 48 tooth gear mounted to the lead screw to create a compact 1:1 ratio.  All you need to complete the actuator is a motor and a motor mount.  The kit comes complete with a step-by-step assembly guide and breaks the build down into nine simple steps.

We recommend the 5.2:1 ratio goBILDA 5202 Series Yellow Jacket Planetary Gear Motor (mounted with a 555176). This motor provides enough torque to lift 50lbs at a swift 6"/sec!
