This Gear-Driven Turret lets your robot rotate a shooting mechanism smoothly and precisely without having to turn the whole chassis. The 105mm bore provides a clear path for elements to feed up through the center, and a large steel ball bearing seated in a precision-machined aluminum housing keeps rotation smooth and consistent so your aim stays true.
Mounting
On-pattern holes on its sides make it straightforward to fasten the turret to your robot's structure, and the top follows the goBILDA® 8mm grid for whatever shooting mechanism you build above it. Whether you're fastening goBILDA® components or your own custom-machined or 3D-printed creations up top, this turret gives your shooting mechanism a firm foundation.
Drive
This Turret can be driven by a ServoBlock®, a Yellow Jacket Planetary Gear Motor, or an A301 actuator thanks to the included 1-Side, 2-Post Motor Mount. Both the mount and the 64-Tooth Hub-Mount Gear are also available individually, so you can add a second drive source for higher torque or redundancy.
